Outcome
With its linear shape and striking louvred façade, the state-of-the-art Quadram Institute has become a landmark building on the world-renowned Norwich Research Park.
Designed by London-based NBBJ architects, the pioneering facility has garnered global attention for its admirable ambitions and aesthetic appeal, combining medical and research facilities with laboratorires.
To reflect its ethos, a cohesive design was required, offering a uniform approach to the building.
Laying Solus’ Serene tiles from the Terraform range throughout the entire public realm helped to achieve this aim, creating a subliminal link between the main entrance, endoscopy waiting room, atrium, cafeteria and public bathrooms, enabling the interior space to flow and feel connected.
In the public bathrooms, Solus’ exciting Cosmopolitan range of Latour wall tiles offers a contemporary-look, while the external terrace features tiles from the sophisticated and tactile Foundation range in on-trend Chunk, inspired by modern architectural cements.
