Description
A luxury boutique hotel, The 3 Pigeons Inn features some of Solus' most luxurious tile ranges. Brick style crackle glaed tiles and bevelled wall tiles are used in harmony to create a sense of traditional warmth with a contemporary twist.

Tiles from the Opulence, Cosmopoliton and Travertine 3 range were supplied to public areas and guest bedrooms.
Outcome
Located in the heart of Banbury Town, The Three Pigeons Inn is a newly renovated public house with guest accommodation that features tiles from Solus.
First opened in the 17th century the building has been a key part of the community for generations, but required a full refurbishment to restore the Grade II listed building to its former grandeur.
Completed in November 2012 by Oliver Redfern, The 3 Pigeons Inn was given a complete and sympathetic makeover to the bar restaurant, conservatory, meeting room and bedrooms. Modern trends were added, but great care and attention was taken to preserve and enhance traditional features.
Solus supplied tiles to the guest accommodation including the en-suite bathrooms and WCs. Green crackle glaze, metro style tiles from the Opulence were selected for the on-suite and fixed in a traditional brick bond pattern.
In the public WCs a beveled metro tiles from the Cosmopoliton range were chosen, adding a sense of luxury and glamour. 300x600mm floor tile in a rustic brown colour and a matt finish complemented this elegant scheme.
