Description
Solus provided the tile specification for this luxurious and modern swimming pool and changing village complex. Natural colours were combined to create a relaxing and harmonious design scheme.
Tiles Used
Tiles from the Steam and Mineral range were used in various locations.
Outcome
Solus were thrilled to have supplied tiles to a brand new swimming pool project at one of the South West’s most prestigious holiday parks- Cheddar Woods.
The team at NBDA Architects who, like Solus, have a great deal of experience in this sector designed the development, which is the newest holiday park to be launched by Darwin Holiday & Leisure Resorts.
The architecture of the project was designed to fit in with the unique natural landscape of the picturesque Somerset Hills whilst providing the state of the art facilities.
Solus supplied tiles to the area surrounding the modern and luxurious tropical swimming pool and also supplied the tiles that were fitted to the outer wall of the pool hall.
Slip resistant, textured tiles from the Steam range, which is a modern collection of speckled grey tiles, were chosen.
In addition, Solus also supplied tiles to the contemporary changing village. Themed with a warm, natural essence, tiles from the rustic Mineral range were applied to vanity walls. On the floor, contrasting coloured tiles from the Impressionist range, a natural looking collection that features 40% recycled content were used to create logical pathways.
