Outcome
Nestled in the picturesque grounds of one of the UK’s finest championship golf courses, the once dated Fairhaven Clubhouse has been treated to a contemporary makeover. The ground-floor function room has been transformed into a sleek and modern space benefitting from the addition of a stylish bar.
On the same level, the male and female locker rooms have been designed to reflect a Scandinavian aesthetic, assisted through the application of Solus’ wood-inspired Houston tiles from the Nordica range.
A fortuitous balance between visual appeal and the requirement to meet safety standards, the range’s R11 grip finish makes it an ideal option for wet areas.
Concrete-effect Howell tiles from Solus’ popular Format range and travertine-influenced Compression tiles from the Moorwalk collection grace the walls, complementing the floor’s subtle shades.
In the multi-functional space on the first floor, Solus’ understated Devout tiles from the Divine range create a pewter chevron pattern on the wall behind the bar, enhancing the cerulean wood panelling, while a subtle encaustic apron has been laid around the base of the counter using Bigga tiles from the Shetland range.
