Description
A large-scale office building for business use, the Treliske Innovation Centre is a modern and sleek project. Solus supplied a mottled grey tile and a complimentary lighter tile to emphasise the contemporary aesthetic.
Tiles Used
Tiles from the Chiltern Stone range were supplied in two colours for the reception and tiles from the Tumulus 1 range were fitted to toilet walls.
Outcome
October 2012 saw the opening of The Health and Wellbeing Innovation Centre in Treliske in Cornwall, which was supplied with a large amount of tiles from Solus.
The four-storey building features dynamic office space for 70 enterprises, building support surfaces, cutting-edge meeting and conference facilities, informal networking zones and access to leading technology.
Solus supplied more than 2000m2 of flooring tiles to the facility which were laid throughout the main circulation areas and in toilets. Dark grey tiles from the Chiltern Stone range were selected in a 450x450mm size.
A contrasting lighter grey tile was also used in areas such as the informal networking locations to help create specific zones for users.
Natural 3 is an extensive range of porcelain floor tiles with seven rustic brown, grey and fawn shades available in textured structured and satin finishes.
A complementary grey tile from the Tumulus 1 range was also supplied and fitted to the toilet walls.
