Outcome

Set in the colourful and vibrant Piccadilly Circus in the centre of London, Brasserie Zedel offers a breathtaking journey to a decadent Art Deco era, with painstakingly restored fixtures and fittings and elegant tiles from Solus.

The restaurant, which was developed by Chris Corbin and Jeremy King the duo behind famous eateries The Wolesley and The Delaunay, is situated in an 18th Century block that has received a £300m redevelopment.

Brasserie Zedel opened on 18th June 2012 and features Art Deco interiors designed and refurbished by David Collins studio including a large restaurant, an American bar, a cabaret room and luxurious male and female rest room facilities.

Solus supplied more than 200m2 of wall tiles to both the male and female toilets. The tiles supplied to both bathrooms can be described as Art Deco teardrop arches and were supplied in a delicate cream colour. Each arch was also fitted with a contrasting fan shaped insert to create the look of a high-end bespoke mosaic.
