Managing our internal footprint
We’re dedicated to reducing our footprint internally. We continually evaluate and improve our internal operations to minimise our impact on the planet and make a positive contribution to society.
We measure the carbon footprint of all the samples we send out to clients
Our scope 1 and 2 emissions make up 1% of our total annual carbon footprint, and 99% of this comes from the tile samples we purchase, cut, pack and distribute to our customers. This large responsibility is why we focus on managing our samples activities, ensuring we reuse samples and use electric vehicles where possible (40% of our freight is by electric vehicle use).
During our RIBA-accredited CPD 'Moving Earth: Sustainability and Ceramics', we show practices their samples request activity and footprint to encourage them to return unused samples back to us.
