Sustainable packaging reflects feedback from the A&D community

Solus sustainable tile sample packaging

Reflecting our customers’ increased emphasis on eco-friendly practices, we are now delivering all of our boxed tile samples in packaging that is 100 per cent recyclable.

We have listened to feedback from architects, designers and specifiers and acted on their suggestions by creating a range of fully branded, environmentally friendly parcels.

The four recyclable boxes, which vary in size to cater for different volumes of sample orders, are now packed with paper, while the vinyl tape that was previously used to seal deliveries has been replaced with a paper equivalent.

Fully recyclable plastic packaging is also being used to protect fragile items during the transportation process.

Marketing Manager Marcel Thomas said: “At Solus, it is our mission to provide the products, services and support that our customers want and expect to receive from us. We pride ourselves on our ability to adapt to evolving influences and preferences, and to not only listen to feedback but to actively seek it.

“It is thanks to the collaborative approach fostered between ourselves and our valued customers that we launched Quarter magazine and regularly develop up to the minute literature, such as the recently released 40-40 brochure.

“We are delighted that we have once again been able to act on feedback from the architectural and design community by introducing our stylish and environmentally friendly range of packaging and boxes.”
