Spolia longlisted for Dezeen Awards

We're delighted that Spolia has been longlisted for the Dezeen Awards 2024 in the Sustainable Design (Building Product) category!

The awards recognise the best of products and materials pushing the boundaries of innovation to create a more sustainable, responsible, and regenerative future. There were over 4,130 entries from 82 countries to Dezeen Awards this year, so it's an honour to have been longlisted by the judges!

Spolia is a revolutionary terrazzo made from recycled, custom UK demolition waste, transforming discarded materials into stunning, durable solutions.

Each UK-crafted tile is unique and a bespoke service allows designers to incorporate waste materials from their project sites into one-of-a-kind terrazzo creations, creating a narrative of reuse and revitalisation.

The result is a product that is entirely unique to that building, with each speck within the tile telling a story of the history and materiality of the site.
